Cinco de Mayo calls for a little tequila and what better way to celebrate than with the Casa Noble Ritual? Time to sip a little Casa Noble Blanco, followed but a sip of Sangrita, and finished with a sip of Corona. No shot allowed! And no, I didn’t spell that wrong, Sangrita meaning “A little blood” in spanish, is meant to cut the pepperiness of the tequila while highlighting the acidity at the same time! It looks a bit like Bloody Mary mix.
To make your own Sangrita, you’ll need the following…
2 cups Tomato Juice
3/4 cup Orange Juice
1/4 cup Mango Juice
1/4 cup hot sauce (I use Cholula)
1oz Fresh Lime Juice
Good pinch of Cilantro
Jalapeno to taste
Add all ingredients together, blend if you’d like, refrigerate for 3 hours and sip chilled!
Please enjoy a safe and happy Cinco de Mayo and always celebrate the ritual way!
